Hi,

In the rewrite_title function, line 1150, I was hoping to add another tag for pulling in the wp_title() text generated from WP.

$title = $this->internationalize(wp_title('', false));
$new_title = str_replace('%404_title%', $title, $new_title);

This would allow for other plugins (*coughs* Pods) to hook into wp_title() for 404 pages.
It would also allow for the standard "Page Not Found" title (as well as the i8n variations), preventing users from having to hard-code it.
