While capitalized titles (e.g., "This Is A Capitalized Title") are fine in the U.S., they are not in many other languages. I am not sure if this was introduced in the most recent version of AIO SEO Pack or not. However, I noticed just now that my Norwegian page titles are being capitalized. In our language, this is considered a capital(!) grammatical sin.
I would suggest that AIO SEO should leave the title as it is being entered by the webmaster, and hope that you could please fix this in the next release. (Alternatively, a setup option for this could be useful.)
Also, I would be interested in knowing if there is some tweaking I could do to get rid of the capitalization right away.
Best regards & thanks,
Kristoffer L

Hi,
FYI, I am not talking about translations or localizations here, just about leaving page titles the way they are typed in, by default. It seems to me that AIO SEO Pack is parsing the titles and capitalizing them on the go, without asking the user if it is ok…

Some more info, to correct and clarify:
Actually, it seems that on pages and posts, titles are being left capitalized the way they were intended by the author – which is good.
The capitalization problem appears when categories are being displayed. E.g., if the category name is Bells and whistles, it is being capitalized as Bells And Whistles. This changed title is also being sent to Google and other search engines.
Could the problem be connected to the handling of the default %category_title% | %blog_title% ?

I just did what you suggested. I deactivated all my other plugins and switched to the default theme.
Exactly the same happened. AIO SEO Pack capitalized all category names in page titles.
These capitalized category names/titles have also been sent to Google and the other search engines. This is where I detected it tonight. (Sorry for my first assumption that it was the page/post title, and not the category title.)
Since this capitalization makes me look kind of stupid (capitalize titles are considered really bad taste in the Scandinavian languages, as well as in several other languages) — I am rather keen on getting this solved as quickly as possible…

I do not know if it happened in the previous version. I never looked for it. I have only been using AIO SEO for a few weeks, but have already updated it twice, I believe.
Today, I did a lot of control searches in Google to see how my pages were performing and that is how I became aware of the problem. To your credit, I must say AIO SEO is working quite well on the SEO part of it. This capitalization business, however, was a disappointment.

FYI: I am running two different versions of AIO SEO on two different sites/blogs. One is 1.4.91 and the other is 1.6.2. This behavior is identical on both blogs.
In other words, the problem must have been around for some time.

Hi there,
I appreciate highly your quick response. Prompt action like this is rarely seen.
Unfortunately, due to all the time zones between us, it was late night here when you posted the beta. When I tried to download it now, I got a 404.
Would you please be able to re-post it, or e-mail it to me (if you have the e-mail address from my forum registration)?
Best regards, Kristoffer

I have tested it now. It works like a charm!
However, I just found out that tags are being subject to the same problem. Multiple word tags are being capitalized the same way as categories were. Being one of many who always keep my tags in lower-case (for structural reasons), it would be nice if this aspect was honored in the page title and the SEO.
The new setup option was very nice. If it was extended to tags as well (in combination or separately), I would consider the problem solved for my part.
Best regards, Kristoffer
