meta tag TITLE is generated incorrectly in Wordpress 3.0.

Instead of %post_title% | %blog_title% show %post_title%%blog_title% | %blog_title% -> where the blog title and doubles title next to the post.

Why might this be?

Thank you.

I am having a similar problem with the Tag page .. I am using: %tag% | %blog_title%

You can see an example here: http://dryicenetwork.com/tag/fun/

the title should just be: Fun | Dry Ice Network

however it is

FunDry Ice Network | Dry Ice Network

This appears to only be effecting the "Tag Title Format"

EDIT: It looks like normal "Pages" have it too.. example: http://dryicenetwork.com/terminology/
Show a title: TerminologyDry Ice Network | Dry Ice Network

Thoughts?

I'm having exact the same problem! When I look at your website is seems that you fixed it? How did you manage it?

I'm having the same issue. Where is the site title being generated from? It appears that my site title is being added to the end of the page name and before the site name (as setup by AIO SEO). This is the same problem reported above.

Please let us know how to solve this issue. Thanks.

I figured out how to make the title appear correctly.

By unchecking the default section on "Rewrite Titles" the issue appears to be solved for the WP 3.0 users. On the All in One SEO settings page, just unselect the box next to Rewrite Titles.

Hope that helps,

I did not speak English. But there is Google Translate. ;)

This was my previous answer:

My header.php:

I have the same problem in the two themes I've tried.

Thanks.

This isn't an issue with 3.0, and unchecking rewrite titles is not a solution.
Most likely it is a theme issue. What theme are you using?

Make sure there's nothing in the header.php's title tag.

I'm using the 'Toolbox' theme and I have deleted everything in the header.php's title tag and I'm still having the same issue.

It seems a lot of people are…any fixes?

Hi, does anyone know exactly what element of a theme could cause this conflict?
