Hello there,
I have built a couple websites lately using the updated version of all in one seo. The wordpress software and everything else is currently updated too. Twice now, Google has indexed my websites without a meta description and meta tags. The only thing that comes up on Google is the url.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've been using all in one seo for about a year and never had this problem, until recently.
Thanks,
David James

OfflineGoogle will show whatever description they want, the meta description is just what you give it. For instance, if someone is searching for a particular word that is found somewhere on the page, Google will likely show that in the results, to aid the user. All in One SEO Pack doesn't present the meta description any differently than normal, it's all up to Google what to do with it for each individual page and for each individual search.

Google isn't even showing anything to aid the user, that's what I mean
It's weird, because this is how my site is suppose to look if you were to find it on Google. Example: Hair Removal Made Easily
Learn how to remove hair without the pain of pulling or plucking, etc…
This is how Google is indexing my sites now…
No meta, no description, nothing.

All in One SEO was activated while I created the site a week ago. The metas in All In One were added last week and it should of shown the results. I have snapshots of how I have it laid out, but it's not allowing me to paste it here. There were a few minor tweaks today, such as I clicked canonical url and I think I clicked on autogenerate descriptions to see if this will help. But usually the only thing I tweak is the post title format and page title format.

Thanks for working to help me out with this.
I finally figured out the problem. The newest version of wordpress automatically sets your privacy status as private. If you don't click on "site viewable to everybody" Google will index your site the way it was described.
Thanks againf or all of your help with this…
