SEO tags not showing up and upgrade won't work All in One SEO Pack Troubleshooting Forum

Hi

I recently had to install a new theme and since my SEO has stopped working

I tried to upgrade and got these messages

Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /nfs/c04/h04/mnt/66816/domains/katetoon.com/html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/all_in_one_seo_pack.php on line 1344

Warning: file_get_contents(http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack.zip) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /nfs/c04/h04/mnt/66816/domains/katetoon.com/html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/all_in_one_seo_pack.php on line 1344

Also although the all in one seo tags appear further down the page they don't appear at the top which is a probelme when uploading links to facebook and the like – as it actually displays the empty description tag

I am not uber technical so please explain in idiot terms.
