I too am having difficulty with the AIOSEO pack changing titles. I am using WP 2.8.4 and the lastest version of AIO I have all the setting correct in the pack but the blog title still shows up first in the title bar as well as when I view the page source. Is the theme that is overriding the AIO pack? And if so how do I change it?

To test if it's your theme, switch to the default theme and see if everything works.

Tried switching themes to the default and still no change.

I have another website still using WP 2.7 with the AIOSEO pack and it works fine. Since WP 2.8 I have not been able to use the title features, however, both the meta description and meta keyword functions work fine.

I know I would have better SEO if I could get the titles to change.

Has anyone found an SEO pack that works in changing titles in WP 2.8.4 ?

All in One SEO Pack works in WordPress 2.8.1-4.  In fact, you really need to upgrade your other site to 2.8.4, and stop running 2.7, as there was a major security vulnerability that has been fixed in WordPress.

Deactivate all your plugins and switch to the default theme.  Ensure that the plugin is activated on the plugin options page, and that rewrite titles is checked.
