AIOSEO Pack (Free) Doesn't Appear To Work |

Please forgive me if I'm being stupid but the AIOSEO Pack (Free) doesn't appear to work. :-(
I installed it and filled in the Title and Description fields on my Home page.
After publishing, I checked the source via Firefox and neither the Title nor the Description was included!
"Disable on this page/post:" is NOT checked.
What am I doing wrong?
