I made a typo in the "Home Title" field. Now Google shows that typo (of course). I corrected the typo, but how long will it take for the changes to appear in Google?

I can't actually see this post so I'm guessing the problem may be similar to mine. I have altered the home page description slightly but Google is still bringing up the incorrect one. Do I have to re-submit to Google or something?
