I'm really new to wordpress and used to work with html and a bit joomla. I tried the SEO pack, works fine, but how do I make the URL seo friendly, now it us not more than domain.com/?p=4 or something and I want the keywords in the URL.

Is it part of the seo plugin or does I have to look elsewhere?

You can get easily a free seo friendly url. For this take a name with your keyword.

I am still learning all of the tweaks for wordpress the one I learned about is going to settings then to Permalink Settings and change to custom structure and put in /%postname%/
This will make your url use keywords instead of page bla bla bla
