Just found out that when I used the Site name and description text in the all in on search settings, I receive W3 validation errors. My title and description contain the "&" sign so if the code does not automatically correct this then there are errors. I tried putting the & in the text boxes but they did not stay after saving. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks, I have read so many good things about this plugin and this is just my first day to try it. I will have to do some reading up on it and the options and also the differences in the pro version when I have time.

Ok I have found out some information, but you still need to find a solution or fix for this problem with & symbols.

If I use the correct & code in the title and description and save them it will pass validation testing. But the next time you go back in to AIO settings the & code is gone and only the & is there. Such if you change something and save it again without changing the & code the HTML validation errors come back.

So in a nutshell anytime you edit the settings you have to change all & symbols to & before saving, and every time which is a pain.

I hope you will find a solution for this. If so I might get the Pro version.

Yes it is, please read my message again.

If I use the "&" in the Title or Meta description and save, then the errors are gone yes. But the problem is in the saving of settings in AIO plugin. When you go back in to the settings you will see that it did not save the "&" code and all & symbols have reverted back to just a plain "&". What this means is, every time you want to make a change and save the settings in AIO I will have to go through and change all the "&" in the title and Meta description again, and again, and again etc.

Try it for yourself add the & to the title. Save the settings and you will see the & has now changed back to just a plain "&".

Most wordpress plugins will automatically handle these & symbols and automatically change the html code to & but your plugin is not.

Well what do you know the new version of AIO SEO seems to have corrected the HTML Validation errors. I'm still going to consider the upgrade to the pro version, but I think the forum support here has been terrible.

I sure hope that this is no indication of the support I would get for a paid version.
