I have recently added all in one SEO to wordpress and have added in the Mate description Title, but now I have two one the default wordpress title as shown and the one defined in the all in one seo plug in.
I have the re-write tile box ticked in the seo setting but both show. Does anyone know how to resolve this so we only have the tile showing that is defined in the all in one seo.
If you goto http://www.psweb-design.com on index page there are two meta names for descriptions
Shouldn't All-in-One disable the title and description fetures of the theme? All themes let you change the title and description in the general settings for the homepage. I am having this too, but also with the description meta. Actually, the description meta from All-in-One is appended to the tagline from the general setting of the theme. This happens with my internal pages too.
All in One SEO Pack 1.6.12.1
Wordpress 3.0.1
18-in-1 iMAG Themeforest Theme
As a work around I have removed the meta description for the homepage in All-in-One. The title meta is still populated but it doesn't show up in the source code. Does it have anything to do with checking the Canonical URLs or Rewrite Titles boxes? What causes this problem? Wordpress, theme, plugin or missing selections?
