Hi I am having an issue that I dont believe is server related this time. I have a wordpress MU site that once ran an older version of All In One which I believe is the culprit. I have done the auto install and the manual install and each time it just displays:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

When I try and activate the plugins, I installed this on another WPMU site on the same server with no problems.

Thats all the info it gives and nothing is written to the error_log. As I said I had an older version installed a while ago but uninstalled it, I feel there must be something still in the database but I cant find it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I am using Wordpress MU 2.9.1.1, Buddypress 1.2, and All In One 1.6.10.

I did a little more research this morning. I was tinkering in phpmyadmin and saw that the plugin adds tables with aiosp so I searched the whole database for entries with that. I ended up deleting all the tables that showed up and tried a reinstall, it still gave me a fatal error and nothing else. Before I deleted I had tables spread out in the database but after I deleted I noticed it only added aiosp to wp_1_options.

So I guess the problem that causes it to fail is somewhere in there. I will try and narrow down the problem a little more, maybe compare this database to another wpmu site on the same server running the plugin with no problems.

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, but I am reporting the same problem, although I did not have an earlier version of All-in-One SEO pro. I bought it yesterday, installed it and tried to activate the plugin. Fatal error. I would sure appreciate some help. I run Wordpress 2.9.1, if that helps.
