I just upgraded my All in One SEO Pack to Version 1.6.4 and when I go to the admin page, check “enabled” and “submit” I get an error page saying “Error 400: Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.”

Was running WP V2.8.3. Upgraded to 2.8.4 and problem persisted

Originally used auto upgrade from WP plugin admin so tried manually uploading fresh copy; problem persisted.

Tried another computer in the house. Problem persisted.

Window XP Service Pack 2; Firefox V3.0.13

Tried using IE6; problem persisted.

Tried reuploading previous version of SEO-pack, but was then got “not authorized to view this page” when going to plugin admin.

Unfortunately I neglected to backup the database before upgrading.

Please advise. Thank you.

Edited to add: The plugin seems to be working though. I tested it by adding a page (I don't use posts on this particular blog) and everything seemed to be fine (page source shows data I added in SEO-pack fields)

I just upgraded to 1.6.4.1 and still have this problem. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks.

I disabled all plugins & switched to the default theme. Still get the same error.

I also upgraded to 1.6.6.1.

linux

hsphere control panel

Not sure why, but it makes me uncomfortable to post that source code in public. Can I send it to you privately or give you a log in for the blog?

Thanks for all the time and effort you put in on this. I'll contact my hosting company and see if anything can be done, and if not, I'll likely move to a different company. If I get any useful information from the hosting company, I'll let you know.
