Hi All,
About 12 months ago I developed a free community help and advice blog for people who stutter. The blog is at http://www.stutteringjack.com. The blog currently consists of a main home page and then about 10 older blog entries that are subpages below the main page. Google has given the main page a ranking of 4 and the subpages all appear to have a ranking of 3. I have recently become very disillusioned and lost a lot of interest in continuing the site because I cannot seem to bring the blog up in too many Google searches. For example there is an older blog page titled "Speech Therapy For Stuttering – is it for everyone? (Adults Part 1)". Now when I put a keyword specific search into Google like "Speech Therapy For Stuttering" the page does not come up even though it has the 3 ranking. Now if I add the word "Jack" of course it comes up then. Now when it comes up you will see that the description in Google for the page is showing the start of the last paragraph of the blog post for some odd reason. Similarly on that same Google
search results page you will see another blog post for "Speech Therapy For Stuttering – is it for everyone? (Adults Part 2)" and the description showing is the start of the first paragraph of that post. I am using Thesis 1.7 and also the All in Oe SEO. Can anyone please give me a little help to get this sorted out and get me back in track with getting the blog properly handled by Google search engine. Thanks in advance. John S
