Wordpress with Facebook Thumbnails Troubleshooting Using WordPress Forum

Hello, I just recently created my first blog using wordpress. When I post a link on my facebook to one of my blog entries, the thumbnail shows until I press "share" than it goes away.  I have read that several others have similiar problems.  Several have suggested that the problem started when they upgraded to wordpress 2.9.  It was suggested that I downgrade to Wordpress 2.8.  I did that and that didn't help.  And wordpress wouldn't let me edit until I upgraded back to 2.9.  It gave me no choice.

I noticed that when I linked to a friend's blog post (www.Lorirask.com) the thumbnail worked.  After a little investigating I saw that she was also using Wordpress and I believe that SemperFi Web Design created her site for her.  (Very nice by the way)   I was hoping since her's seemed to work fine, you might have some insight for me as how to solve my problem.
